UMTAVADDO CALANGUTE GETS A FACELIFT: INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE TO BENEFIT LOCALS
Calangute, Goa – March 11, 2025:
In a bid to enhance connectivity and ease of movement for residents, the Umtavaddo panchayat has undertaken a significant infrastructure upgrade near Sant Khuris. The development work, which includes the laying of pavers, is aimed at creating a more accessible pathway for locals.
The initiative, being carried out under the supervision of ward member Alex Coutinho and the vision of Sarpanch Shri Joseph Sequeira, demonstrates the panchayat’s commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents.
“The upgrading of infrastructure in Umtavaddo is a long-awaited necessity,” said Sarpanch Shri Joseph Sequeira. “We are dedicated to providing our residents with better amenities and facilities, and this project is a significant step in that direction.”
Ward member Alex Coutinho added, “The new pathway will not only improve connectivity but also enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the area. We are grateful for the support of our residents and look forward to completing this project soon.”
