Mapusa: In a bid to enhance the region’s preparedness for the monsoon season, Deputy Speaker and Mapusa MLA, Joshua Peter De Souza, convened a crucial joint coordination meeting with officials from the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC), Electricity Department, Fire Department, Public Works Department, and other key stakeholders.
The meeting aimed to assess the response to recent heavy rains and identify areas for improvement. De Souza emphasized the importance of prompt communication and seamless inter-departmental support to ensure a swift and effective response during emergencies.
