MAPUSA’S HERITAGE GETS A NEW LEASE ON LIFE: URBAN DEVELOPMENT MINISTER INAUGURATES RESTORED MUNICIPAL BUILDING
Mapusa, 7th june – In a grand celebration of Goa’s rich cultural heritage, Urban Development Minister Shri Vishwajit P Rane today inaugurated the beautifully restored and renovated Old Mapusa Municipal Council building, a stunning example of the region’s architectural splendor. The event, attended by prominent dignitaries, marked a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to preserve its cultural legacy while promoting urban development.
Shri Joshua De Souza, MLA Mapusa Constituency and Deputy Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira, MLA Aldona Constituency, Smt. Priya V Mishal, Chairperson of Mapusa Municipal Council, and Shri Prakash V Bhivshet, Vice Chairperson of Mapusa Municipal Council, were among the esteemed guests who witnessed the inauguration.
