Calangute Association Hosts Blood Donation and Eye Check-up Camps on World Blood Donor Day

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Calangute Association, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of GMC Medical College, organized a blood donation camp on 15th June 2025.

Despite the rainy weather, the camp witnessed an encouraging response with 65 registrations and 52 successful blood donations.

“Calangute Association sincerely thanks each and every donor for their generous contribution in saving lives” said secretary of Calangute association Ryan Mascarenhas .

Additionally, an Eye Check-up Camp was conducted in association with Blink and Beyond, where 45 individuals availed consultation services to assess their eye health.

Calangute Association remains committed to promoting community health and well-being through such initiatives and appreciates the continued support of all volunteers, partners, and participants.
