“TRADITION TAKES CENTER STAGE: 35TH SIOLIM SÃO JOÃO FESTIVAL CELEBRATES GOAN HERITAGE”
Siolim, June 24: The 35th edition of the Siolim São João Traditional Boat Festival got underway in grand style, inaugurated by Tourism Minister, Shri. Rohan Khaunte, in the presence of Siolim MLA, Smt. Delilah Lobo, and Calangute MLA Shri. Michael Lobo. The festival, organised by Siolim São João Traditional Boat Festival and cultural organisation in association with the Department of Goa Tourism, promised to be a spectacular celebration of Goan culture and tradition. The event showcased the state’s rich heritage and highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting its unique cultural identity.
