Shri Shanta Vidyalaya’s Parent-Teacher Association Meeting: A Resounding Success
The Parent-Teacher Association meeting of Shri Shanta Vidyalaya, managed by Vidya Bharati at Sadye Shivoli, was held on July 5th with great enthusiasm, marking a significant step towards fostering a stronger partnership between parents and educators. The meeting saw a large turnout of parents, teachers, and dignitaries, including school manager Shri Purushottam Kamat and renowned social worker Shri Shivshankar Mayekar.
The meeting emphasized the importance of overall development, with Shri Shivshankar Mayekar highlighting the role of academic and extracurricular activities in shaping students’ personalities. Acting Principal Shri Vishwas Sangale urged parents to maintain regular communication with the school to stay updated on their child’s progress. Shri Purushottam Kamat highlighted the school’s objective of molding students into good citizens, beyond just academic success.
New office bearers were elected, including Smt. Reshma Langote as the president of the PTA’s secondary division and Smt. Shivani Pednekar as the president of the pre-primary division. Teachers shared valuable insights on creative activities for young children and understanding students’ emotional needs.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a prayer for peace, setting a positive tone for future collaborations between parents and educators.
