“Empowering Democracy: ERO Conducts BLO Training for 30-Fatorda Constituency”
Panaji: The Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) recently conducted a comprehensive training program for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in the 30-Fatorda constituency. The training aimed to equip BLOs with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform their duties in voter registration, electoral roll management, and voter awareness. The program covered various aspects of electoral processes, including voter registration procedures, management of electoral rolls, and best practices for voter outreach and engagement.
The BLOs were also briefed on the importance of their role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of voter lists. The training program is part of the Election Commission of India’s efforts to strengthen the electoral process and ensure that all eligible citizens are able to exercise their right to vote.
The ERO emphasized the need for BLOs to be proactive in identifying and registering eligible voters, particularly in areas with low voter registration rates. By providing BLOs with the necessary training and support, the ERO aims to enhance the overall quality of electoral services in the 30-Fatorda constituency and ensure that the democratic process is strengthened.
