MAPUSA HOSTS KEY ELECTORAL TRAINING FOR BLOs AND SUPERVISORS
Mapusa, Goa – In a significant step towards strengthening the electoral process in the 07-Saligao Assembly Constituency, a comprehensive training programme was organised for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors at A.G. Keni Hall, Saraswat Vidhyalaya, Khorlim. The programme saw the participation of 40 BLOs and 4 supervisors, who underwent rigorous training to enhance their skills and knowledge in electoral registration and management.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Umesh N. Desai, Dy. Director Public Grievance & Electoral Registration Officer for 07-Saligao A.C., stressed the importance of accurate and comprehensive electoral rolls. He highlighted the pivotal role BLOs play in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
Kum. Jenisa Pereira, Jt. Mamlatdar-III of Bardez and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer for 07-Saligao A.C., was also present, underscoring the commitment to effective voter registration and management. The training programme is a crucial initiative aimed at empowering BLOs and supervisors to discharge their duties efficiently, thereby contributing to the overall health of the democratic process in the constituency.
