YURI ALEMAO RAISES CONCERN OVER AGRICULTURE COLLEGE ACCREDITATION ISSUE IN ASSEMBLY
Panaji – Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao raised a critical issue in the Assembly concerning the accreditation status of an agriculture college in Goa. Approximately 200 ex-students of the college, who have completed their course in agriculture, are facing difficulties in applying for vacancies and posts advertised by the State Department of Agriculture due to the college’s non-accredited status.
Alemao demanded that the government provide relief to these ex-students, enabling them to pursue their careers in agriculture without further hindrance. He urged the government to take necessary steps to recognize the qualifications of these students and provide them with opportunities in the agricultural sector.
The issue highlights the challenges faced by students graduating from non-accredited institutions and the need for the government to address this issue to ensure that these students are not deprived of opportunities in their chosen field.
