South Goa Administration Bolsters Law and Order Ahead of Festive Season
In a bid to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, Collector of South Goa, Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, and Superintendent of Police, Shri Tikam Singh Verma, reviewed security arrangements for the upcoming festivals of Ganesh Chaturthi and Milad-un-Nabi.
The authorities have planned several measures to ensure a peaceful and safe festive season. Police departments will increase night patrols to maintain vigil and prevent any untoward incidents. Thorough verification of tenants in sensitive areas will be conducted to prevent potential security threats. Strict action will be taken against traffic violators to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent accidents.
Ms. Cleetus appreciated the arrangements made by Deputy Collector and SDPO Mormugao for Saptah, showcasing the district administration’s commitment to fostering a secure environment for residents and visitors.
