FC Goa Drawn in Group D of AFC Champions League Two with Al Nassr FC
Goa, 15th August 2025:
The stage is set for an exhilarating continental campaign as FC Goa have been drawn into Group D of the prestigious AFC Champions League 2025. The Gaurs will lock horns with Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr FC, Iraqi powerhouse Al Zawraa SC, and Tajikistan’s top side FC Istiklol in the group stages.
The group stage matches will be played on a home-and-away basis between 17th September and the 24th December 2025, with Fatorda Stadium set to witness high-octane international football nights once again.
The draw pits FC Goa against some of Asia’s most formidable opponents. Al Nassr FC, runners-up in the Saudi Pro League last season, feature global superstars including Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Zawraa FC, Iraq’s most decorated club, brings a rich history of success in West Asian football, while FC Istiklol have been the dominant force in Tajikistan, consistently making their mark in continental competitions.

The tournament kicks off with FC Goa hosting Al Zawraa SC at home in Fatorda on 17th Sep before they travel to face FC Istiklol on 1st October.. The big clash between FC Goa and Al Nassr FC in Goa is scheduled for 22nd October and is certain to be a blockbuster clash.
The AFC Champions League Two group stage marks FC Goa’s return to Asia’s premier club competition, reinforcing the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level and inspire Indian football fans across the country.
