“CM Showcases Support for Spiritual Arts as Chief Guest at Bhajan Competition Prize Distribution”
Panaji, Goa – In a grand celebration of devotional music, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended the prize distribution ceremony of the Pt. Manoharbua Shirgaonkar Smruti State Level Bhajan Competition, organized by Kala Academy Goa at Panaji.
The competition, which saw participation from various bhajan troupes across the state, was a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Goa. Dr. Sawant’s presence added to the significance of the event, highlighting the government’s commitment to promoting and preserving traditional arts.

Kala Academy Goa has announced a series of competitions for the year 2025-26, including Tiatr ‘B’ Group Competition, Konkani Drama Competition, and One Act Play Competition. These events aim to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of Goa ¹.
