“Goa Takes a Big Leap Towards Cleanliness and Sustainability with New Toilet Block and Sewage Treatment Plant”
PanajI: In a significant step towards improving infrastructure and sanitation facilities in Goa, Fisheries Minister Shri Nilkant Halarnkar inaugurated a modern 20-seater toilet block along with a 40KLD sewage treatment plant at Malim Jetty, Bardez. The ceremony was attended by Tourism Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, MLA Shri Naik Kedar, Secretary for Fisheries Shri Prasanna Acharya, IAS, and other dignitaries.
The new toilet block is designed to cater to the needs of locals and tourists, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. The sewage treatment plant has a capacity of 40 kiloliters per day and aims to treat wastewater, promoting sustainable waste management practices.
