The Mapusa fire services team sprang into action on Thursday responding to a distress call at 2:36 pm regarding a person in distress in a well near Sorro Hotel in Munang Wado, Assagao. Led by their team, the fire services rushed to the scene to assist in the rescue operation.
Thanks to the prompt and expert response of the fire services, the person was successfully rescued from the well. The Mapusa police, led by Sub-Officer Shri Prakash Kannaik, were also present at the scene to provide support.
