Mapusa: Social activist Sanjay Barde expressed his outrage and deep concern over the brutal assault on fellow activist Rama Kankonkar in Caranzalem, Panaji. “This incident is not an isolated one, but rather a symptom of a larger problem of lawlessness and impunity that has taken hold in Goa,” Barde said, highlighting the need for concrete action to address the root causes of the problem.
“The government’s response to this incident has been inadequate, and it is clear that they are more interested in protecting their own interests than in ensuring the safety and security of citizens and particularly the activists ,” Barde added, demanding immediate and decisive action to apprehend the perpetrators.
