“Chief Minister’s Vision Takes Shape: North Goa District Committee Approves Forest Rights Claims”
Dabem: As part of the #sewapakhwada2025 campaign launched by Chief Minister, a special District Level Committee was convened under Chairmanship of Collector, North Goa Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS in the office of Deputy Collector, Sattari to decide the claims filed under Forest Rights Act, 2006, for Zarbe and Dabem village.
A total of 111 claims were taken up out of which 96 claims were approved, 11 were called for personal hearing, 3 were reverted back to SDLC for documents and 1 was rejected. This is in line with the vision of the Hon’ble chief minister to expedite the settlement of forest rights in the district.
