Goa State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation – 2021
Organized by POWERGRID.
Ministry of Power, Government of India has taken up yearlong awareness campaign on Energy Conservation all over India.Under the Campaign, Painting Competition on Energy Conservation is being organized every year among school students at school level, State Level and National Level. The basic scheme of the competition was designed by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, which is the overall co-ordinaters of the project.
Power Grid Corporation of India is a Nodal agency for organizing State Level Painting competition in Goa.
The Painting competition is being done in two categories viz Category A (Std V to VII) and Category B (Std VIII to X).
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has been organizing the Painting competition for the State of Goa. The said Painting Competition was held from date 04th December 2021 to 07th December 2021 at Campal Indoor Stadium, Panaji Goa and Topic for State Level was: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Energy Efficient India and Cleaner Planet.
Prize Distribution Ceremony have been organized at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Colvale, Goa.
At the outset,

Shri Anilbabu G Naik, Nodal Officer were present on the dais for grace of event.
Further, Sh Nasirhusen I Shaikh, Chief Manager, POWERGRID presented the details of the event and declared the winners of this competition.
Total 1026 students participated in this competition. Group A 526 nos & Group B 500 nos of students were participated. Among the above 13 students from both categories were selected as winner of State level Competition. List of the Winners attached herewith separately:
Prize Money for Each Group (A & B) is as follows:
1st Prize: Rs. 50000/-
2nd Prize: Rs.30000/-
3rd Prize: Rs.20000/-
Consolation Prize: Rs.7500/- (for 10 nos)
The three winners of the competition shall represent Goa in the National Level Painting Competition being held at New Delhi on 13th December 2021.
The Principals and Art Teachers of various schools, students, parents, Education officers and officials and family members of POWERGRID were also present on the occasion.
