Are you still wondering whom to vote?
Are you confused like many others? Your decision to vote can be easy if you remember the following 5 points.
Presenting to you my honest point of view in the interest of Goa and Goans. No hidden agenda to target anyone. Like many others I am also a frustrated Goan wanting to see some good in our administration.
1. 👉🏼Is your MLA contesting 3rd time? DON’T VOTE. No matter how good or powerful s/he may be. This policy will root out corruption permanently. Too long power breeds goondagiri and dadagiri.
2. 👉🏼Is your candidate 60 years old? DON’T VOTE. If government forces everyone to retire at 60 then MLAs must also retire at 60 from public offices. This will help new young and dynamic leaders to emerge.
3👉🏼Does your candidate have any scams or criminal records? DON’T VOTE. Do your homework find out about your candidate you are planning to vote. Don’t vote for a thief and a criminal for money or biryani. 2000 yrs ago people voted for a thief Barabas and even after 2000 years we still vote for theives. 🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂
4. 👉🏼DON’T VOTE for Family Raj. India is a democracy and not a familycracy. Every aspiring common citizen should get a fair chance to contest election. If the candidate (wife, daughter in law, daughter, son of an existing MLA) contesting election is not from your constituency DON’T VOTE. For healthy democracy our Assembly house must have citizens from all constituencies not just from certain families.
5.👉🏼 Did your candidate jump parties (defected) and betray the voter? DON’T VOTE. S/he will betray you again. You will end up being a fool.
