the committee for the shigmoutsav which has been formed comprises of MLA of Mapusa constituency Joshua dsouza as the chairman chairperson of the mapusa municipal council subhangi Vaigankar,as the vice chairperson and chief officer of the Mapusa municipal council sitaram Sawal as the executive vice chairman

the working committee comprises of chairman dr Gurudas Natekar, vice chairman Pradeep Kavlekar, secretary chandan Gopi naik, secretary subraj kanekar, joint secretary Ravindra fogueri, joint secretary vikas kambli, treasurer sadanand shet Narvekar, treasurer Smita faldessai, joint treasurer dinesh G pankar, and joint treasurer Dnyaneshwar Parsekar,

advisory committe comprises of Rajendra Pankar, Prasanna Burye, Mohan Kanekar, Damodar (babu) Natekar, vilas Pankar, Sushant Pednekar, Avdhuth S Narvekar, Mahadev S natekar, Anil Bhartu and Shivanand Dhavjekar

the publicity commitee comprises of Prakash Dhumal, Narayan Ratwad, Tushar tople, sudesh arlekar, Anil laad, Girish Mandrekar, Ramesh naik, Prasad Mahambre,Agnelo Pereira, umesh zarmekar, Renuka Talegaonkar, Arpita srivastava, sandeep Kamulkar, Prasand Pingulkar, Shyamsundar Phadte, subhash Kavthankar, sai Prasad Kubde, sandeep kamulkar, and Bharat Bhetkekar,

Gulaloutsav will be celebrated on friday at 6.30 pm at a grand mandap which will be erected at Mausa taxi stand. newly elected MLA of Mapusa Joshua dsouza and chairperson of the mapusa municipal council Shubhnagi vaigankar will grace the occasion. after that a fency dress competition followed by a dance on record program will be held for children from 5 ot 10 years.

on 19th march 2022 a grand program of Lavani will be held at the same place at 6.30 Pm in the evening. the all goa chitrarath, Romtamel, folk dance and a A group fency dress competition will start on sunday at 5 pm by offering prayers at the Rashtroli temple near cine Alankar.

the competition will end at 9 pm. the samiti members have requested the general public to attend the Programs in large numbers.

“those participating in the competitions must collect the entry forms from Shri Mohan P kanekar, and should submit the duly filled forms at the same place on or before 18th march” said President of the shigmoutsav samiti Gurudas Natekar.
