The Calangute police arrested two youths from Jharkhand and Assam with 11 stolen mobile phones.
calangute police informed that Upon interrogating the suspected accused persons disclosed that they have committed theft of the said phones from Baga beach. As such an FIR has been registered against above accused persons vide Calangute Police Station Cr. No. 66/2023 u/s 379 r/w 34 IPC and accused persons has been placed under arrest. Both the accused persons are being produced before Hon’ble JMFC Mapusa for remand.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Ramesh Harijan of Calangute Police Station under the Supervision of PI Calangute Shri Paresh G Naik and SDPO Porvorim Shri Vishwesh V Karpe.
