According to calangute police On 24.04.2024, a narcotic raid was conducted near Bodkewod, Porbawado, Calangute, Bardez-Goa, during which accused Sanjay Chnyal s/o Zohar, age-26 years, R/o Naikawado, Calangute, Bardez-Goa and c/o Dan and Devine Restaurant, opposite Marino Hotel, Arpora, Bardez-Goa was found in illegal possession of white colour crystal like substance suspected to be psychotropic drug MDMA weighing 08 grams.
Credible information was received by Calangute Police Station from the sources that one male person will be coming to deliver narcotic/psychotropic drugs to his prospective customers. Accordingly a raid was conducted in presence of panchas and above narcotic drugs was seized.
Raid was conducted by the team comprising of PSI Paresh Sinari, HC-4936 Vidhyanand Amonkar, PC-6118 Amir Garad, PC-7917 Gaurish Karbotkar, PC-7904 Pranay Gawas and PC-7956 Ravindra Gawas all of Calangute Police Station.
A complaint regarding illegal possession of narcotic drugs was filed by PSI Paresh Sinari of Calangute P.S. upon which PSI Shri. Vishwajit Dhavlikar has registered an offence under the provisions of NDPS Act, 1985.
