The tree plantation was done under the “Ek Peed Maa Ke Naam” programme under the Women and Child Welfare Department at Madhlawada Betim Anganwadi Sector 5.
Anganwadi teacher Rajshree Deb, assistant sevika Bharti Surelkar, parents and students were present on the occasion.
The parents were informed about the importance of trees and also the students were also reminded about how trees are useful to nature.
Rajshree Deb urged everyone to plant a tree in the name of their mother and preserve it.
