GOVERNOR OF GOA RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM ADDITIONAL SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
Panaji, December 5, 2024: Shri Anandrao Patil, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India, called on the Governor of Goa, Shri PS Sreedharan Pillai, at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula. Secretary Education, Shri Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, was also present on the occasion.
Shri Anandrao Patil is a senior bureaucrat who has been instrumental in shaping the country’s education policy. As Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, he has been working closely with various stakeholders to implement the National Education Policy 2020 ¹.
The courtesy call assumes significance in the context of the ongoing efforts to reform the education sector in Goa. The meeting is likely to have discussed various initiatives and programs aimed at improving the quality of education in the state.
