Calangute BJP Mandal Installs New President and Booth Presidents
In a grand ceremony held at Hotel Nazri Baga, Calangute, on January 7, 2025, the Calangute BJP Mandal installed its new president, Shri Samir Chodankar, along with all 35 booth presidents. The event was attended by a large gathering of party workers and dignitaries.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble MLA of Calangute, Shri Michael Lobo, Returning Officer Shri Franky Carvalho, State Secretary Shri Gorakh Mandrekar, and District Gen Secretary Shri Gurudas Shirodkar. Outgoing Mandal President and Gen Secretary Shri Yashwant Kandolkar and Sudesh Shirodkar were also present.
The event was also attended by Sarpanch Shri Roshan Redkar (Arpora Nagoa), Dy. Sarpanch Sow. Sushma Nagvekar, Shri Chandanand Harmalkar Sarpanch (Parra), Dy Sarpanch Shri Daniel Lobo, and Dy. Sarpanch Sow. Geeta L. Parab (Calangute). Many ward members, ex-sarpanchs, Yuva Morcha, Mahila Morcha, Minority Morcha, social media office bearers, and other dignitaries were also present.
The installation ceremony marked a new chapter for the Calangute BJP Mandal, with Shri Samir Chodankar at the helm. The event demonstrated the party’s commitment to grassroots-level politics and its dedication to serving the people of Calangute.
