MLA Shri. Pravin Arlekar and GHRSSIDC MD Dr. Ajay R. Gaude Visit Lokotsav 2025
In a show of support for Goan artisans, MLA and Chairman of Goa Handicrafts Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (GHRSSIDC), Shri. Pravin Arlekar, along with Managing Director Dr. Ajay R. Gaude, visited the Lokotsav 2025 festival at Darya Sangam, Kala Academy, Goa.
During their visit, Shri. Arlekar and Dr. Gaude interacted with the Goan artisans showcasing their handicrafts at the GHRSSIDC Ltd. stalls. This gesture highlights the government’s commitment to promoting and preserving Goa’s rich cultural heritage.
The Lokotsav 2025 festival is a celebration of Goan art, culture, and tradition, providing a platform for local artisans to showcase their talents and products. By visiting the festival, Shri. Arlekar and Dr. Gaude demonstrated their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of these artisans.
This initiative is in line with Shri. Arlekar’s efforts to promote Goan culture and arts, as evident from his questions raised in the Goa Legislative Assembly regarding awards and recognition for Goan artists
