Empowering Young Minds: The Green Cross and Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs Host Successful Seminar”
The Green Cross organized a session on Youth Empowerment in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Panjim, Goa. The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs hosted the event for students of Satpurush Institute for Higher Secondary Education at Mandrem on February 13, 2025.
The session, part of a project undertaken by the Directorate, aimed to promote holistic development among students. The event featured a series of talks and discussions on various topics, including personality development, biodiversity conservation, and first aid.
Principal staff members, students of Satpurush Institute, and Assistant Physical Education Officer Ms. Agnes Maria Dias attended the seminar. Resource persons included Chetan Talwar, who spoke on biodiversity conservation; Suneel Korajkar, who discussed man-animal conflict, first aid, and snake bites; and Nikita Gupta, who addressed personality development.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by a teacher. The entire program was hosted by Aditi Korajkar, Secretary of The Green Cross.
The event was a huge success, with other members of the organization, namely Viraj Parwar and Deeptej, in attendance. Students benefited greatly from the informative sessions.
The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs deserves appreciation for supporting The Green Cross in organizing this session, which aligns with its mission to promote the overall development of youth in Goa.
