Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Friday urged the Goa government to develop a policy to encourage hometays in the state and leverage the tourism potential by targeting high-value tourists.
At an interaction with industry leaders in Panaji, Goyal said that he will form a small working group of state and Union ministry officials to promote tourism in the coastal state.
during his visit that Piyush Goyal will met various stakeholders and industrial organizations in the state to review and analyze the growth of industries. They will work to bring environment friendly industries in Goa.
He also be reviewing the progress of various development schemes and will interact with key stakeholders during 2nd and 3rd June 2023.
. He will also attend the Startup 20 group meeting organized under the G20 chairmanship of India.
