As per the order of Bardez Development Officer, the first Gram Sabha of Anjuna caisua Panchayat of this year was concluded on Sunday 19th. In this Gram Sabha presided over by Sarpanch Laxmidas Chimulkar, Panchayat Secretary Dharmendra Govekar Read out the minutes of Gram Sabha held on 6 November 2022.

On this occasion ,A villager Ramesh Naik pointed out that there was no provision of accessible toilets for common people outside the panchayat house, and also pointed out that in the previous village council, different village committees were elected but those committees were not registered with the group development officers and no meeting of these committees was called yet. .

After Panchayat Secretary Dharmendra Govekar presented the estimated budget of Anjuna caisua Panchayat for the year 2023-24 of 12 crores 28 lakhs in the Gram Sabha, villager Ramesh Naik suggested putting the notice on the board to instruct the people to study it before consent.

Since the garbage tax levied by commercial establishments in the Kayasuv Panchayat area is still low, an important decision to increase the garbage tax was taken in this gram sabha and the cancellation of the DPR given by the Central Government to the Karnataka government for the Kalsa Bhandura project on the Mhadai river and opposition to the diversion of the Mhadai river was proposed by Ramesh Naik, Chairman of the Biodiversity Committee. Unanimously approved, it was decided to send this resolution to the Central Government.
